Friction uses three-part cups and vertical seams to lift the bust into a rounded, centred balcony shape. The open neckline gives less upper-cup coverage than a full-cup bra, while the underwires and supportive back provide the foundation. It is designed for visible, graphic shaping rather than a seamless T-shirt finish.
Is the Friction bra padded?
No. Friction has underwired, non-padded cups in sheer fishnet and mesh. The cup seams create the lift and shape without foam, so the finish stays light and revealing. Choose a foam-lined or moulded style instead if you want more opacity or a completely smooth cup beneath clothing.
Does Friction support fuller busts?
Friction is designed for DD–J cup across selected 30–40 bands. Underwires, three-part cups, vertical seams and a power-mesh back provide the support behind the open balcony neckline. The decorative front straps should sit against the body without cutting in, while the main cup edge contains the bust.
How should the Friction bra fit?
The current fit note says Friction is true to size, so begin with your usual Scantilly size. Check that the band stays level, the centre lies flat and the cups contain the bust without spilling or gaping. The decorative straps should frame the neckline without pulling the cup out of position.
